چکیده
The southern green stink bug Nezara viridula (Linnaeus) is a polyphagous species that causes economic damages to many crops in Bulgaria. aim of this study was identify the parasitoid could suppress populations viridula. A lot agricultural were inspected region Plovdiv, Bulgaria, for presence egg parasitoids and imaginal pest. Egg masses adults collected during field surveys 2019-2021 Southern only emerging from Trichopoda pennipes (Tachinidae), which reported first time rate parasitism at conditions ranged 2.83% 35% different generations host. family Scelionidae – Trissolcus basalis (Wollaston), Eupelmidae Anastatus bifasciatus (Geoffroy), Encyrtidae - Ooencyrtus telenomicida (Vassiliev). It found eggs 2020 2021 respectively 7.77% 0.25% May, 34.32% 17.23% June, 72.3% 80.51% July, August reaching 100% 89.79%.

The piercing-sucking herbivores Lygus hesperus and Nezara viridula induce volatile emissions in plants.
Plant volatiles induced by herbivory are often used as olfactory cues by foraging herbivores and their natural enemies, and thus have potential for control of agricultural pests. Compared to chewing insects and mites, little is known about plant volatile production following herbivory by insects with piercing-sucking mouthparts. Here, we studied factors (insect life stage, gender, the role of s...
متن کاملEvidence of stochastic resonance in the mating behavior of Nezara viridula (L.)
We investigate the role of the noise in the mating behavior between individuals of Nezara viridula (L.), by analyzing the temporal and spectral features of the non-pulsed type female calling song emitted by single individuals. We have measured the threshold level for the signal detection, by performing experiments with the calling signal at different intensities and analyzing the insect respons...
متن کاملSelection of Soybean Pods by the Stink Bugs, Nezara viridula and Piezodorus guildinii
Different biological parameters of the stink bugs, Nezara viridula L. and Piezodorus guildinii Westwood (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), are affected by the developmental stage of the soybean (Glycine max Merrill) pods they feed on. These effects of the soybean on the stink bugs could represent a selection pressure leading to the ability of these species to discriminate the phenological stage of soyb...
متن کاملThe effect of noise on sexual behaviour of the southern green stink bug Nezara viridula
Stink bugs of the pentatomid family communicate using substrate-borne vibrational signals transmitted through host plants. Specific signal length and repetition rate are critical for mate recognition and are susceptible to masking by simultaneous conspecific and congeneric signals. We tested whether overlapping conspecific signals interrupt Nezara viridula (L.) sexual behaviour with playback of...
متن کاملDemography of gut symbiotic and aposymbiotic Nezara viridula L. (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae).
Nezara viridula L. is a highly polyphagous and cosmopolitan pentatomid stink bug. Despite its economic importance, aspects of its biology are poorly understood. N. viridula has one primary bacterium associated with its gastric caeca, which females provide to offspring by smearing it on the surface of eggs during oviposition. We studied the impact of three temperatures and egg mass surface steri...
